Aditee Joshi was born and raised in Mumbai, India. In 2012, after her marriage, she moved to the great state of Minnesota to be with her husband, who at the time was pursuing his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. Currently, he is working as a scientist with a contract research organization in Cary NC, and now she calls North Carolina home. She completed her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Biotechnology, followed by an MBA with a specialization in pharmaceutical marketing. While in Mumbai, she worked in the client management team of a healthcare communications agency. She is now a home-maker pursuing her hobbies and being a wonderful volunteer.
Aditee fills her days with writing for her blog on various topics (check it out at aditeejoshi.wordpress.com), cooking, dancing, taking captivating photos, and traveling. She is described as calm, patient, easy to get along with, friends, sincere and loving.
Aditee began her journey with InStepp Inc. in November 2017. She is on the team that helps develop communication plans for the legal immigration services that InStepp Inc. offers. She started volunteering with InStepp Inc. after looking for a volunteer opportunity and found the vital work that is being done and knew she could contribute her talents to a cause she believed in. This isn’t the first time she used her skills and passion for helping others. While in Minnesota, she worked with the Arthritis Foundation for three years. The foundation is fighting against arthritis with information and resources, advocacy, advancements in science, and community connections and support.
Aditee is yet to get an opportunity to work directly with women in InStepp’s programs, but that doesn’t stop her from being inspired, admire and respect how women, who have found themselves in a difficult situation, are fighting all the odds and seeing their new happiness. From the work that Aditee has done, she has been affected positively by the knowledge that she has gained. She has found a sense of gratitude and respect for everything she has been given.
Aditee Joshi is a beautiful person that is helping make a difference with her actions. Everyone at InStepp Inc. is very thankful that she has taken the time out of her schedule to help with our mission.
