For low-income immigrants, a Department of Justice -accredited (or DOJ accredited) representative, trained in immigration law, may be the only hope they have for representation in court. InStepp Inc. has been recognized by the Department of Justice’s Recognition and Accreditation (R&A) program to provide affordable but quality immigration legal assistance to immigrants who need help.
The Department of Justice’s R&A program is a unique system in which people who are not attorneys, but receive training and education in immigration law, can provide legal assistance in immigration matters to low-income and indigent people, through non-profit organizations. The DOJ R&A program is a vital lifeline for many who qualify for relief under U.S. immigration law, but cannot afford to pay a private attorney to help them obtain it.
Our Immigration Legal Services staff will assist you with the entire immigration process — from completing necessary applications to representation at USCIS interviews. Please call for a consultation appointment at 919.680.8000.
