Ivette e. Kerr is the Director of Latina Services at InStepp Inc where she is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution and completion of all activities related to Hispanic-Latino programs.
Ivette was born and raised in the Panama City, Republic of Panama in Central America. She joined InStepp in October 2017 with over 30 years of experience working with families and children. She has previously worked for Orange County Head Start/Early Head Start, the non-profit organization BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, Inc, and in various divisions with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. As the wife of an active duty member of U.S. Air Force, Ivette lived overseas in Japan and Guam, where she also worked in family support services. She moved with her family to North Carolina over 20 years ago, and currently resides in Raleigh with her two adult daughters and grand-dog, Chappie.
