Words of Motivation
This piece was written to uplift women and remind them how wonderful we truly are. Life throws us all a curve ball here and there and I wanted to simply put a smile on the face of someone who needed encouragement.
From birth, our very existence has been one riffled with challenges for as long as man has been of the world. Our path has been long and arduous, but our bodies were made for the journey.
Truth is painful but out of growth comes beauty
So often with one glance, we have been reduced to an appealing face or a curvaceous body
Seldom seen as an equal or a greater mind
Each of us uniquely crafted in this world with our own pail filled burdens
Our heart’s capacity spans the universe ready to excel and hopeful for opportunities
Yet pliable enough to withstand life challenges and shortcomings
We stretch and grow with the eb and flow of life’s tidal waves
Capable of loving unconditionally and through imperfections
Rising above broken heartedness and finding room for love
Inspiring others to accept and love their reflection
We are nature’s appointed nurturers, even bearers of life, we cradle it from within and sacrifice ourselves to bring forth the light
A woman is a gift to the world in disguise
Many times, underrated, taken for granted
We care so deeply for most things, we seek to cultivate life, we worry because we love so intently and deliberately
A woman’s work seems so unfair at times when we look at our counterparts
The work that we do cannot be done by anyone else, but the credit often eludes us
Someone said behind every good man is a great woman
Being in the shadows is honorable work and much respect is due but those who can’t see themselves will not ever truly see you
The foundation is valuable but rarely praised appropriately because the masses suffer from out sight out of mind syndrome
We are a miraculous specimen, Mankind’s very own farmland, nature’s unrecognized wonder
We are sweet, tender, loving, motherly, inspiring, supportive, strong, submissive, assertive, competitive, passionate, aggressive, and resilient all the thing that we were made to be
We are queens in our own right and life is what make us capable of endless possibilities
We go through the fire only to be refined and we do it all with a smile and sometimes with tears in our eyes
Others look from afar and ponder in awe observing unprecedented level of fortitude
Strength is forged out of pressure and discomfort no matter the domain
Life forces us to grow and with each inch the elasticity of our soul stretches
The strength of a woman is boundless and unbeknownst to man for the source of life is sheer power wielded through the alpha and the omega
We are special and maybe that’s why we suffer so
With great power comes even greater responsibility
One that calls for stamina that is earned by enduring and maneuvering womanhood
Food for thought
So, Women, when you look at your life no matter what your journey may have been, celebrate your blood, sweat, and tears.
For they are the spices that season and enrich your life’s journey. It because of everything that you have been that you can be who you are now.
Greatness awaits you and I am here to tell you, no matter how underrated and unappreciated you may feel sometimes, your strength alone is the source of your truest beauty.
Dedication
This is dedicated to the women who exist is this world as mothers, grandmothers, daughter, sisters, aunts, nieces, wives, professionals, and women recovering from any type of setback in life. At the end of the day regardless of your position, wealth, and status, you are woman deserving of love and understanding. This world is not a perfect place free from the challenges of life, but every day is the perfect opportunity to start anew. If you have breath in your body, there is a chance to turn things around and that is the most undervalued gift. One that goes unnoticed until it is too late. Do not let the opportunity of life pass you by, recognize your strength and believe in your capability. You are warriors and survivors, so there is no reason to doubt your ability. Leave yesterday in the rear view so that you are present in the now. It is only through your focus right now, that your future will breathe on its own.
I celebrate all of those who work hard and bravely pursue their dreams each day. I am sending a special appreciation to all the following:
Women who have suffered tremendous setbacks and challenges but found the will to fight for their right to live and pursue happiness.
The mothers out there working hard to provide a life and future for their children.
The wives that are staying true and helping their husbands secure their dream while also working towards their own brand of success.
The military women who do all of that and still make it a priority to support and defend our country.
All the women that exist in this life regardless of profession, trade, or vocation that are striving for something that is meaningful to their life’s chapter.
