This quarterly workshop provides information to immigrant women about workers rights in the United States, presents information about the main avenues for obtaining work authorization, provides the basic knowledge of provisions within the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA ) that protect immigrant women who have been or are victims of domestic violence, and provides immigrant women who are covered by VAWA with information about immigration options. Although designed for InStepp clients, the workshop is open to the public. Registration is required to attend.
