Programs and Services Support when you need it
Our programs and services are designed to help you get your life back on track both personally and professionally.
| Employment Re-entry Assistance (ERA) Program for Justice-Involved Women ERA has been re-designed as a community-based reentry program to help women transitioning from prison to successfully reintegrate into the community. The program targets females who are within six months of release from prison or who have been released from prison within the past year with at least six months of remaining supervision. Only women who are referred by an ERA approved referral partner are accepted for enrollment into the program. All workshops are conducted in English.
| Cuturally-specific Economic Empowerment Program (CSEEP) for Survivors of Domestic Violence CSEEP is a culturally-specific economic empowerment program offered to US-born and non-Hispanic immigrant women who are fleeing from domestic violence. The goal of this program is to help survivors of domestic violence pursue their individual economic goals by expanding their employability skills, financial knowledge and options needed to build a life without violence. Only women who are referred by a CSEEP approved referral partner are accepted for enrollment into the program. All workshops are conducted in English.
| Nueva Vida ("New Life") for Hispanic-Latino Women
Nueva Vida is a culturally-specific program for Hispanic-Latino immigrant women who are survivors of domestic violence, unemployed or underemployed. The program, which provides free employment counseling and job placement support to program participants, helps to meet the needs of the growing number of Hispanic-Latino immigrant women in our community who, by many indicators, have problems which prevent them from accessing the economic and educational resources which are offered within the community, thereby resulting in many new immigrant women who are poor and unemployed. Nueva Vida, therefore, is an important resource to motivate Hispanic-Latino immigrant women to obtain employment, to get further training and to learn English. All workshops are conducted in Spanish.
